Volunteer positions:

Springflower Animal sanctuay is run by volunteers. No member is currently paid due to low funding.

Volunteering is great for your C.V if you are looking for work in this field but it's also great for the soul. This type of work is very rewarding as you see animals who have been poorly treated living the life they deserve. Often you will see that animal going to a new loving home which is the best part of the process.

What do i need to volunteer?
You need to love animals and be able to work outside in all weather conditions. Thats it! Confidence comes in time as does experience.
For the more experienced animal lover, there is usually a host of horses that need trainning and working on behaviour.
There is something for everyone.

When can i do it?
We are very flexible here. We are a family run organisation and live onsite. You tell us the hours you can put in and we tell you if that is suitable.
Got children? No problem, term time only is fine with us as long as we know when your NOT coming.

I want to help but don't fancy getting my hands dirty!
No problem! How about doing some paperwork for us. There are endless letters to be written and fundrasing ideas to be put in place. If your good at organising and event planning then we can put it to the test and let you organise an event. You can offer as much or as little time as you can.

Am i insured to volunteer?
Yes, we are covered for public liability. This covers anyone who volunteers for us.
