About us

Springflower Animal Sanctuary was established in July 2005 by myself, Rochelle Collings in Surrey. Due to high costs and low income, the sanctuary re-located to the rolling hills of Devon with plenty of fields for the animals.

The sanctuary takes on mistreated and abandoned equines, farm animals and some domestic pets.
We are devoted to rescuing and re-homing animals.
Springflower offers sanctuary to any animal that we fail to find a home for. We never ever destroy an animal due to lack of space.

Meet the Team:

Rochelle Collings

"Hello. My name is Rochelle and I am the founder of 'Springflower Animal Sanctuary'. It has been my life long passion to care for old, sick and mis-treated animals. When I was 19 years old I started rescuing animals as a hobby, now six years on, we are a registered non-profit organisation and take in and re-home animals on a daily basis. "

John Ellis:

John is my partner. Since the birth of our daughter he has taken on the morning role of feeding the animals. Feeding starts at 6am every morning. John then goes to work at a regular job to sustain us as a family. John is also a sanctuary Director.

Chloe-Holly Ellis:

A valued member of our team. Our daughter and supervisor. Now three and a half.

Sophie Carter:

Sophie volunteers both physically and mentally as she helps out on the yard as well as volunteering her skills as a graphic designer. Sophie designed the springlfower logo and is the Sanctuary secretary.

The sanctuary has many supporters that offer their valuable time and support. We offer our thanks to all of those involved with our charitable work.
